I joined the course on the spur of the moment because the prospect of making my own shoes felt super exciting. And so it has proven to be! Veronika is a great teacher, the course is easy to follow even if you miss some online classes because you are busy at the time, and really, truly ANYONE can do it, no special skills needed. I strongly suggest opting for the tool kit Veronika offers – these are simple inexpensive tools, but local finds don’t necessarily replace them well. Using the exact basic tools Veronika uses is optimal for this particular work process. I loved the supporting FB group, too: being in touch with others working on the same thing, reading their questions, witnessing their journey, receiving their feedback made the experience complete. I cannot decide what it is I enjoy more: the fun and empowerment creating something so real meant – or showing off the result. 🙂 🙂 🙂
